NEWS: Shusterman Recognized Alongside Volunteer Attorneys
Zak Shusterman, along with colleagues committed to providing pro bono legal services to their communities, was recognized this morning at an event honoring attorneys who have volunteered with the Pro Bono Partnership. The Pro Bono Partnership provides free business and transactional legal services to nonprofit organizations serving the disadvantaged or enhancing the quality of life in neighborhoods in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
Zak’s recent engagements with the Pro Bono Partnership have included assisting an adult education advocacy group in Connecticut with governance issues and securing tis 501(c)3 tax-exempt recognition, as well as helping a cultural organization in New Jersey dedicated to showcasing exceptional musical communities apply for authority to operate within New York State.
