Client Rights & Responsibilities
Any legal representation is a joint endeavor, requiring you and your attorney to work together.
As the client, you pay well for legal services. It's important that you remember that your attorney works for you and that you expect to be treated with respect. However, your attorney can only offer the best counsel when you cooperate fully with all reasonable requests.
With this goal in mind, please read both the Statement of Client's Rights as promulgated by the NYS Unified Court System and the Statement of Client's Responsibilities.
