Zak Shusterman
Zak brings a broad base of experience to his legal practice. Prior to founding the firm, he was the only American attorney working for Belgium’s largest independent law firm. As a member of the European Law practice group, he dealt with a range of corporate matters, including antitrust, regulatory and intellectual property matters.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Zak had extensive experience with science and technology matters including years conducting neural science research and several more as a software consultant for clients across the US and Europe. He remains actively involved with the technology consulting community.
Zak works extensively with the artisitic and non-profit community and is always interested in getting involved in new projects. Current clients include both established and start-up businesses, as well as authors and artists, and private individuals.
Pro bono activities include representing individuals facing residential foreclosures and advising charities. Zak helped establish and sits on the board of directors of New Season Outreach, a South Bronx-based non-profit.
